There is one NPC that players can summon for this boss fight: This boss is optional and not required to finish the DLC. Players may find the fight against Darkeater Midir one of, if not, the hardest boss fights in the game, with high defense and a large health pool, as well as a multitude of attacks that can punish you hard if you're caught out of position.
